Winners Circle Highlights
I've edited highlights for this incentive event for 14 years in a row and have the immense pleasure of working with brilliant creative teams on-site in locations as varied as Shanghai, Rome and Hawaii.
Across two weeks I work in close collaboration with two camera operators, a producer and the end client who I interface with directly on daily review sessions to ensure we're creating the best representation of the event to celebrate the attendees' achievements.
Tree Installation
I also create video loops and promotional material for on-site screens at live and trade show events.
This 'tree' installation was an opportunity to bring to life the poster campaign for a healthcare company's flagship product at a trade congress exhibition in Germany. I created moving image content for three curved upstanding screens timed to play alongside a floor screen. The installation served as an attractor, grabbing attendees' attention in a unique way to allow for greater footfall among competitors compared to a traditional flat-screen set up.
Hybrid Event Promo
Supporting static event marketing material with motion works as effective promotion, helping building engagement and excitement through bold typography, pre-existing brand elements, stock imagery and punchy music.
Live Event Sting
Also known as a 'bum-settler', this short video for a tech company helps reset and settle the audience between sessions.
The opening shots reinforce the location, five key words that define the event fly through to a box to resolve on the event's key visual.
Many of my other projects on this portfolio are for live events.
Creatively - I love the opportunity to work on all sorts of screens in their myriad of sizes big and small.
Experientially - I love being able to contribute to the atmosphere at events - the buzz of excitement and expectation an opener can create, the vibrancy a video loop can bring, the poignancy of a human-interest story that moves an audience.
Personally - I love working alongside wonderfully talented and dedicated folk in their own right, and the thrill of collaboration that comes with it.
